Many on this forum identified the issue when Siraj started bowling in the 1st inning of the 1st test.

 

When Gurnoor and Siraj were bowling in the nets ,the team management should be able to identify who is bowling well.

 

Gurnoor had 10 wicket haul against Sri Lanka A,In the practice game also he bowled well .

 

Gambhir has shown he is very stubborn regarding his likes and dislikes and can  even risks team performance for the same.

Siraj is the designated leader of the attack in the absence of Booms. Everyone was sharing stats o how Siraj does well in the absence of Booms. They were not ging to drop him. Only way Gurnoor could have come in is in place of Kuldeep. They probably know he is not in rythm something Gill reflected in post match interview. So they played him with the hope he gets back his rythm.  Mukesh also had 10 wicket haulf against Australia A. India didn't play him. They played Prasadham.

I doubt the coaching skills, analysis, intuition, risk taking ability of Gambhir to select Siraj ahead of Gurnoor

After first test performance India should have also dropped Gill in favor of Sarfaraz.

Forget what Gambhir does or not. My point is simple, i am going by your logic of dropping Siraj after 1st test so i am extending the logic to Gill. Dont care who would have played Gill should have been dropped.

Minority quota has been stuck down by courts. No quota on the basis of religion says the supreme court.

Dont mix politics here..if BJP has influence there..then Rajeev Shukla is in BCCI from eternity too..

Some Influences will always be there..but we need to keep focus on the personnels who are responsible..

What BJP pick? He left BJP already. After that, he joined KKR,won title there and then became Indian coach.
