Sundar is never a T20 player. He is not even a good ODI player. So it is the fault of TM to put him at 4.  Despite limitations he won atleast a couple of games with his bat. He did far better than both Jadeja and Axar this season.

Bhuvi always have had good ipl season only 2024 and 2025 where he went for 9+ eco.

 

He has always been good in bi-laterals too, he underperforms in big games (icc events) where opp. are playing full strength side

Krunal for T20s as a replacement for Axar if Axar is injured or even in ODIs but only as a backup for Axar. I would've preferred Riyan Parag to take that spot but he has regressed and simply hasn't stepped up. Show me another all-rounder right now which can play the role Axar plays better than Krunal.

 

Bhuvi for ODI WC if no other pacer steps up. Bhuvi holding one end up will give more chances for Bumrah to pick up wkts coz batters won't be able to block both ends.
