Bhuvi gets unnecessarily maligned here because he doesn't please the speed gun Gods. But he is consistently one of the best bowlers in the IPL. And his pace isn't bad either. He has been consistently in 135-140 range. With accuracy and movement and intelligence, he has proved time and again that he can be a valuable contributor to Team India. 

 

Krunal also has showed that he is a thinking cricketer and has tried to improve his bowling and batting to keep up with current T20 demands. I still think Axar overall is better, but Krunal in form would be ahead of an out of form Axar. 

 

I think it is all about  how eveyrone fits in a team.  INdia opened with Dube in Asia cup final and won the match because pitch aided spinners. If India wants 8 batsmen India has to drop a seamer. Even ARsdheep missed a few matches in Asia cup.

When did Bhuvi win us a knockout game? 

 

In ODIs run stopping doesnt matter, we need a wicket taker upfront and he isnt that

 

At least give our bowlers something to defend. And if Bhuvi was the problem then what happened in 2023 WC final? Do you blame Bumrah, Shami and bowlers for that too? At the end of the day in big matches you expect batters to put up a par or above par score. Likes of Head, Warner, Smith did it for Aussies the last decade. But our star batters failed to do so.

 

Blaming bowlers is fine but take a look at the scores our batters put up in those tourneys. All of them were way below par and there was no pressure on batters which bowlers could exploit.

Gill is from pjb and Nehra is from del the 2 sides which has IPL ready batters and not getting any  batters from del or pjb shows what they are going for.

Difference is our bowlers dominated WC 2023 even Shami taking 7 wickets on Wankhede patta. Bhuvi has never produced that kind of performance simply coz he has defensive mindset. It works in IPL coz players are attacking.

Wonderful Half time show ,Especially when it was dedicated to Our Bhole  baba .

Light and Sound show was also Good ,better than the sh1tshow We had to Witness for 1.5 hrs

He already did when he was a temporary captain in ZImbabwe. Gill missed out first match. ABhishek made 141. Next match Gill comes in. He pushed Abhi down and he made a statpadding 40 runs.

This is exactly my fear! I want Iyer, Pandya or Bumrah to get the captaincy coz Gill reminds me a lot of Kohli the way he build his team. It's all top heavy with barely any depth.
