Jaddu has dragged his team back many times in home conditions. Also in overseas, marquee matches like SCG 21, watch how he reduced Aus to 320 odd from 200/2.

Stokes doesn't bowl in half the games outside SENA. He bowled 5 overs in 5 matches in 2024 series in India.

 

He has dragged it because its his home conditions. Failed in Ashes last year.

What were Sear's speeds yesterday ?

 

All the English pacers, including Archer,  were operating in the 130s in the overs I saw. Even O'Rourke was dropping down to sub 135 k often. And Tounge was down to 128 k in his 10th over.

Yesterday and in this test everyone is down on speeds.  Archer and O Rourke are fastest and they are bowling upto early 140's in this game max.

Atkinson in his first spell was sharp upto 140-142k

 

In second test others were bowling close to 140 -142k while Archer and O Rourke often  went past 90mph

How did he fail in Ashes,he took 15 wickets and bowled second most overs by an English bowler before injuring himself and he did not score that many runs but not many England players scored runs.

 

Bowling 20 overs by fast bowler and bowling 20 overs by spinners are not the same.Is Jadeja better bowler than Stokes in home conditions then answer is yes.

 

Kapil would always be rated higher than Jadeja.Fast bowlers have to deal with their niggles and injuries far more than a spinner.
