Frustrated Posted June 26 Posted June 26 (edited) This is only the beginning of our downfall. Players like Iyer & Sundar will ensure our group stage exit in WC2027. Iyer won't last > 10 balls in any match in the WC. Not even against minnows. He struggled in the entire series against mighty Afghans & averaged in single digit in the earlier home series against NZ D team. When I had pointed this, many arm chair experts had strongly reacted to my post by saying "no one really cares about useless bilateral series. It does not matter if we lose to teams like Ireland/Namibia/USA etc in bilaterals.
