Do guys like S Iyer, Tilak, Dube, etc., need to be in T20s?

S Iyer - not sure if he makes it to T20 team anymore.

Tilak - a relatively boring option unless he is an AR

Dube - does not bowl much … otherwise a good option at 6-7

Top 4 could be locked in for the next World Cup unless a change is absolutely needed:

Abhishek - 6 hitting ability

Suryavanshi - talent to be backed

Samson - big tournament performances

Kishan - improved player

#5 - Rinku, SKY, etc. per form

6-7: ideally all-rounders

Next t20i wc is in Nz+Aus , need batter who are naturally good vs Pace+bounce and some swing . Nz is spongy bounce and swing , Aus is Pace and bounce.

Need batter who can hit big 6s , v.fast bat speed and batter who are better at playing pace.

Sanju/Axar/Dube/Kishan/Verma/Iyer are not that good vs pace. Ind will need to find better suited batters. Only batter who is looking good fr such condition is Abhishek.

What they will be do may be add 1/2 batter who are suited for those conditions and then keep all these players in the side.

This is is the list of top scorers in bbl last season, this shows there are 2 kind of batter who are scoring at good sr --1 ) Batter with v.fast bat swing-- harper, warner or v.good power game--Allen, Marsh, Brown

Player Name Team Innings Runs Average Strike Rate
Finn Allen Perth Scorchers 11 466 42.36 145.00+
David Warner Sydney Thunder 8 433 86.60 154.09
Sam Harper Melbourne Stars 10 381 54.43 155.23
Mitchell Marsh Perth Scorchers 10 360 45.00 140.00+
Aaron Hardie Perth Scorchers 11 339 37.67 133.00+
Matt Renshaw Brisbane Heat 11 324 36.00 135.00+

So far Aus-NZ have not been good places for India in WCs, usually the team is a disappointing loss away from getting knocked out.
