There were infact some shody calls in the game but bro, they had 10ish min left in the game, and f'ing let Argentina score 3 goals. At that point, just stfu ... you deserve to lose.

Like which ones? On replay all were legit. The only one was when an argentine player hit the opposition in first half.

VAR is the most ridiculous thing in sports. 

 

It is okay to check offsides or if ball has crossed the goal line.

 

But you cannot go back and check 100 plays before and rule a perfectly legit goal not legal.

 

Eygpt have a valid grievance, if their goal was disallowed , why was Argentina's third goal allowed.Both had some sort of contact at other end.

The last goal, right before it, can't remember who it was that did look like he made a foul with the tripping. But went on to score the last goal. 

 

I only watched it live from 80 min and onward so can't say what happened before (only saw the highlights of it).

 

Also you would think that the marque team would have their match later ... You know for people who works during match time lol.

Argentina is very popular in USA, Americans love the team more than even their own team. D

It is all about world TV revenue, if Argentina exits early, the rest of the matches will be valued, lesser by advertisers.

Role of VAR needs to be revisited. Either monitor everything and over-ride or just the obvious one. These selective over-riding will raise questions.
