Should be inspired by winning teams that play in an aspirational way like France or Spain. Who wants to look up to this dour Eng team?

Never seen him play so bad I am hearing they all had some sickness including the goal keeper. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/england-norway-world-cup-illness-34256046
Sean Bradley Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I was supporting Norway for Haaland but he disappointed me, he barely attacked English defence, on the other hand England were attacking their defence and even forced an error of the goal keeper. Haaland definitely under performed, if it was intentional , that’s up for a debate.

The Hound Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Jude Bellingham the big game player strikes again. Norway can consider themselves a little unlucky though because as per rules this should've been a dead ball

There is no way in hell Haaland would have gone like Bellingham assuming GOal keeper might fumble. He worked a lot harder. He got a lucky rebound.

They havent faced a team of such quality yet. Except Switzerland, all 3 other teams will smoke Eng Sean Bradley and coffee_rules 2
vvvslaxman Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Norway is a noob team for such occasion. Few unforce errors cost them 1) Serloth not passing couple of crosses to Haaland. Atleast one woudl have been goal 2) Haaland needlessly got into a shoving contest 3) Second goal was more an error of Goal keeper.
AKane Posted July 12 Posted July 12 4 minutes ago, diga said: Difficult for Eng to win against France True. however..... If India can win in 1983 vs WI ...... Anything can happen in one match. For example the influenza that struck France in 2022 was bad luck. Anything can happen in one match. putrevus 1

Argentina too has not faced a strong team yet, had to fight it hard to win against Cabo Verde , Egypt. England should fancy their chances in the semifinals and can go all the way to the final just like they did in the European championship Austin 3:!6 1
