Easily worst. There is no plan or sense in his decision-making. Also makes players insecure. 

 

He is destroying Indian cricket. Next coach will have lots of cleaning up to do.

@Gollum is experimentation bad ? We are loosing bilaterals but won cups. If we experiment then only we can find the combination. The only part I thought he could have took some time was giving vaibhav last game. 
 

I do agree he might be good for LOIs and t20s. Tests are not his forte for sure.

Worst test coach ever by some distance...

He has no clue about how test cricket is played.  Entire coaching staff barring Morkel has no understanding of test cricket

Playing the likes of Sundar and Dube isn't experimentation, it is insanity.

He is past it now, but Dube has atleast made some clutch contributions in two WC wins. Sundar is getting a looong run despite lackluster returns while a talented player like Jaiswal is always given the cold shoulder.

 

If GG wants to pick Sundar for depth, he should be used properly. SENA part time off spinners are restricting and getting our LHBs out in the powerplay while Sundar hardly bowls, or bowls crap. He should work on his bowling and become good enough to be picked as a pure bowler capable of finishing his full quota of overs. There is no point in picking him unless he is good enough in atleast one discipline.

He has his likes and dislikes for certain players that's a given.But let the others whom he dislikes fail as well
