Starting separate thread - this is not about protest or what RaGa is doing.

Thread about paper leaks, what's happening, what's govt saying and what are they performing.

First 7 years of Modi govt - number of NEET paper leak - 1

Last 5 years - number of NEET paper leaks - 3

What's happening?

Posted

Outcome wise it's clear downgrade from the past.

Has govt published any analysis of what caused this?

Also what corrective measures have been taken to avoid it in future and what's the status/outcome of those steps?

Any retrospection of why corrective measures havent been successful?

Can use AI to make paper sets now. No need of anyone knowing questions beforehand

It’s always a nexus  between question paper leak mafia, those involved in setting or handling question papers, politicians, and rich doctors/fathers that want to get their sons into medical schools.

NTA was introduced to avoid all these problems, but they work with blacklisted vendors who come back with a different company name, grease a few politicians’ palms I’ll get involved again.

Even if it is a CBT, they’ll host it on servers without any security measures, will get easily hacked by even 12 standard hackers.

The only way to solve is to set  deterrent law for Rulebreakers, give them Life imprisonment, because they have caused a few deaths, albeit suicides because of the paper leaks. Greedy Indians only understand the value of Danda.

For some reason it doesn't happen much with JEE papers.

Good forgotten point. Can't claim it was unavoidable if you do this. Surely NTA were involved too.

If I’m not mistaken, IITJEE is a computer based test. That could be a solution for NEET as well.

Tangent:

Back in my day, someone leaked the GRE paper on the day I took (gave?) it. All our scores were voided and we were given vouchers. Bledy felos made me go from BLR to Chennai to take it the second time.

It later became evident that someone in Hyderabad had someone in Japan fax!! the paper to them after the exam was administered there a few hours prior.

Where will, there way!

I was the type of student who paid attention in class, participated in group projects and studied only a few days before the exam. And that always worked wonders for me.

This incident is from an exam for a paper on Torts: It's a subject I enjoyed. In fact, I read cases of next year's syllabus too. Really liked the subject.

The exam was a 3-hour descriptive test. I was done in an hour and forty-five minutes. My friend asked me to help him out, and I handed my paper to him. He could copy what he wanted to. Which in my estimation is most of the paper.

The topper that semester was to be felicitated by Homer Pithawalla, who was also a professor emeritus in our college. I topped the semester and, on the way, scored 91 in Torts. My friend however scored 97, after having copied most of the paper from me. A record that stands to this day, I think.

Prof Pithawalla almost totally ignored me and kept interacting with my friend during the felicitation class.

Neki kar, dariya mein daal.

On a sidenote, "appa" in kannada & equivalent in other languages is getting replaced by "bro". Hate that usage

Still better than “macha“ or “mama” . Hate our guys copying neighbors . I still use “kano“  , “Anna” or “guru”. Never used “maga” like Mandya boyz.

Ek plate biryani me extra leg piece daal ke aata.
