Yoda-esque Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Yeah. I also like haldirams - Amrtisari Kulcha. :) Whats the best way to cook frozen Kulchas?
Cricketics Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Whats the best way to cook frozen Kulchas? I put them in my microwave first for 30-40 seconds so that ice can melt. Then I put it in my griddler grill. If you do not use a griddler then use a oven-grill or some people often do on gas also. Putting in microwave first makes the whole process faster and also they turn out better. P.s this does not work well for frozen parathas or atleast my frozen parathas do not turn out as good as kulchas. I think most of the frozen kulchas whether alloo or onion or paneer, turn out better than Parathas.
flamy Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 oh man Deep aloo kulchas :icflove: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

I either leave them out for 10-15 mins or heat them in a microwave for a min and then heat them in a pan. Bonus option: eat with hot wings with that from Costco and thank desi baba!

Never tried hot wings and Indian bread. Will try it out. Yes, the best way is to microwave for a min, let it become soft and then grill it on a pan with oil spray (Pam - Canola Oil).
Cricketics Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 ^By the way, you guys try any regular Indian packed sabzi or frozen sabzi? I love Haldiram's Dal Makhni. Most of the paneer sabzi aren't that good, but haldirams dal makhni is just good. It's actually better than most Indian restaurant's dal as most Indian restaurants here do not know how to mae the perfect Dilli Style Dal Makhni.
