Lord Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 There might be so many stories like that. But i read it was loosely based on the old English movie "Verdict". Everyone did their part well except may be the lady who acted as Mom. how is the movie on the whole?boring or gripping
Detonator Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Watched it the other day. Awesomely directed. A different role to Madsen and he was pretty brilliant. A small trivia. Madsen's character is Vic Vega aka Mr.Blondie. He is the brother of Vincent Vega from pulp fiction :giggle:

There are a lot more here.. http://www.moviemistakes.com/film1066/trivia Mr. Blonde's real name is Vic Vega. John Travolta plays Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction. In a cut scene, Nice Guy Eddie (Christopher Penn) is calling a doctor to fix Mr. Orange. Her name is Bonnie. Quentin Tarantino's wife's name is Bonnie in Pulp Fiction. And she's a nurse. Mr. Blonde's parole officer is Seymour Scagnetti. Scagnetti plays the cop in Natural Born Killers. Mr. White used to hang out with Alabama. Alabama is the lead female in True Romance.

There are hell lot of things like this and he managed to create an entire movie universe. :hatsoff: The making content of the briefcase from Pulp Fiction is awesome. There are lot of theories abt it, and the movie feels different each time I watch it :two_thumbs_up:
coffee_rules Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Yes, there are so many layers that unearth in each viewing , just like a Scorcese film. I didn't like Basterds and Django compared to his earlier films. I liked Jackie Brown the best.

Sooda Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Anyone watched Elysium yet? Solid action thriller with an attempted social message in there too. Good film if not quite in the District 9 class. Damon is good as always but Sharlto Copley who is in D9 too, is excellent as a baddie not a SPOILER per se, but... Had to chuckle at the the president of Elysium being a Gujju..hehe

coffee_rules Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 CE is still a brilliant timepass movie. I will put Mohabbatein (it;s not even a word), Dil To Pagal Hain, Veer Zaara, Jab Tak Hain Jaan, Rab Ne banadi jodi in Horror category.
