No where near the Vampire masterpiece Nosferatu (1922) or Universal's the other horror blockbuster from the same year, Frankenstein but still it's fun thanks to Bela Lugosi's performance. In fact, the first 20 min or so were pretty intense and suspenseful but went to downhill then on to the point of campy fun.

If you haven’t watched Satyajit Ray’s Mahanagar (1963), then here’s your chance to catch it on the big screen. On Friday (April 18), the film will be re-released with English subtitles at select theatres across Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune and Ahmedabad, by a multiplex chain, under their special initiative. Mahanagar, starring Madhabi Mukherjee, Jaya Bhaduri and Anil Chatterjee, has been digitally restored by producer Kamal Bansal. Ray won the Silver Bear at the 14th Berlin International Film Festival for the film in 1964. Pather Panchali's cinematography is iconic. By the way, which multiplex chain is it? I'm guessing PVR.
