rkt.india Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Before Nagpur 6th ODI - Mishra MUST play instead of Ashwin. He's a much better bowler. Dhoni is supporting is CSK mate. Sreeni mama's pick. BCCI is sh!t. Blah, blah, blah ... After 1st Innings Nagpur 6th ODI - Mishra is useless. Blah, blah, blah ... :haha:
zumi Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 fat b@stard still can't bowl, what pathetic waste
putrevus Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 what happened to spinners who can beat batsmen with their flight, you may not get wickets but you can contain them at least to some extent all the spinners ahve been guilty of bowling far too short this series.
diga Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 what happened to spinners who can beat batsmen with their flight' date=' you may not get wickets but you can contain them at least to some extent all the spinners ahve been guilty of bowling far too short this series.[/quote'] Ramesh Pawar is still playing
CG Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Lol on these pitches his type of bowling will be easy to handle. It was a bad decision to play him.But if u play some guy give him 5-10 matches.
The Realist Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 It is not just his bowling....the guy is one of the worst athletes ever. Can't field' date=' can't run. Any other country and he would been laughed off at club level.[/quote'] Agree it is embarrassing The state of Ashwin's belly is no better either It's best never to consider them as "athletes" as that just saves you heartache
ShebbySB Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Give Rasool,Rahul Sharma,Nadeem a go in the LOIs.
div Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Another 2020 specialist... bowls like a world beater in the IPL :hysterical::hysterical: good news for Bhajji, before the selection committee meeting.
Ibes Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Really flat track imo. Our spin stocks continue swell. I like him.
YoungTalent Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Give Rasool' date='Rahul Sharma,Nadeem a go in the LOIs.[/quote'] Why was Rahul Sharma even dropped? Way better prospect than this motu midget :headshake:
maniac Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 He is getting warmed up.....Anyway can't judge him based on this pitch,He is world class in the LOI format
CG Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 He is getting warmed up.....Anyway can't judge him based on this pitch' date='He is world class in the LOI format[/quote'] Now he isn't world class. His stats are boosted by zim tour.
maniac Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Now he isn't world class. His stats are boosted by zim tour. Purely as a leg spinner.....He is definetely better than Chaiwala and Rahul sharma Ojha(though leftarmer) is a very good ODI option but obviously he can't field or bat, where as Misra is a decent bat. What kind of Spinner iS rassool, never seen him so can't comment. Aswin has been out of former and Sir is still a bits and pieces player no matter what anyone says but yes he has been our best bowler in recent times. So Misra can be given a long rope just like so many others.
rkt.india Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Lol on these pitches his type of bowling will be easy to handle. It was a bad decision to play him.But if u play some guy give him 5-10 matches. Mishra does not have in him to succeed against good batting lines. He can be effective against minnows like Zim because they struggle to read his googlies, but good batsmen will come out of the crease and thrash him. If Dhoni is to play third spinner in ODIs, rather play Ojha or Nadeem.
saneindian Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 His poor fitness will kill his career. Embarrassing to see a modern day cricketer having such a big belly. Some of his chases in the outfield y'day were epic.
NareshK Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Fitness is very poor which he means he is a liability on the field but can't judge his bowling based on this series. 350 scores are the norm on these tracks which means a bowler has an average economy of 7. He bowled well in his first four overs but lost his line and length once Watson and Bailey started hitting him. Perhaps due to pressure. He has done well before in the ODIs he has played and needs to be given a longer run.
G_B_ Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 have people even watched the match? He has reduced his belly a lot based on what i have seen yesterday. The fact is on pitch like these leggies in the final 10 overs is a strict nono. Anybody who bothered to watch the match will tell you he had the aussies in all sorts of trouble in the first 3-4 overs. It all went pear shaped for India when Sir bowled a no ball to Watson when he was caught.
