I was not really into fashion much. I wouldn't worry about much as i work from home 24/7/365. Lately i am hooked on to buying dresses with certain amount of fashion consciousness. Not just the brand but also the design. Are you guys very particular about what brand you wear, what color you wear, whether the shirt goes with pants and shoes.. et al. Due to this change in my attitude towards fashion, clothing companies are getting slightly richer. Not that i am buying designer clothes for 200$ etc. I am very budget conscious when it comes to clothing.

What type of 24/7/365 work do you? :nervous:
You really envy me don't you. Thanks to the fact that our team is spread across different cities in US, Israel and India and the nature of job that requires our support after hours we are allowed to work from home.

I hope that some day I don't have to go to office. Work from my home is so much more comfortable. As for fashion, I make sure that I look good in whatever clothes I wear. I have matching shirts for every jeans, khaki and cotton pant I own. I am not very particular with socks...black, dark blue and grey work on all pants.

the colour of the clothes is important for sure. As is how the whole thing comes together pants, shirt, socks, shoes, belt and tie if you are wearing one.

I am very particular about what I wear, color, design, brand, everything. It matters in my profession. Don't know if that can be called fashion conscious. More like work/client conscious.

When it comes to formal wear, I have a very boring collection. I tend to play it too safe and often end up buying black pants and shirts in shades of grey or blue. :((

I am most certainly not. I wish I was a bit more, but Im lazy. I have nice clothes which I unleash on 'occaisions' and my wife rails at me for not wearing more often. Like to work I dont wear the 'nicer' trousers that I own. I envy some of the guys (or one guy anyway) who are quite hip and stylish. I dont think I can pull off that kind of indie look but I can make more of an effort. Thats not to say Im a shambles, need to wear a tie and shirt etc to work...and I do...but its not exactly cutting edge trend.

Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole are two of my favorites. These closes are normally pricey, but I tend to purchase from factory outlet stores, where you can get smashing shirts/t-shirts for a $60-$100. The best part is since most of the clothes they have on their shelves are pretty good by themselves, you just have to go pick something that fits your size. It will invariably be good. You dont really need a fashion-eye or anything like that. :giggle:

None whatsoever. Infact' date=' I only wear clothes for a cover. No kidding.[/quote'] Ditto.I wear a shirt and jeans to office and I have no fashion sense whatsoever. The most expensive thing I wear to work is a Versace perfume that some one gifted me.

You cross-dresser VVS?:winky:
Not just the brand but also the design.
I dont wear brands if I can help. To me it is tacky to spend 100$ on a polo shirt only to go around sporting A&F, Armani, Hugo Boss logo. I pay for the goods and also advertise it? Kidding me?

I am quite particular about what I wear. It is more about fitting and colour than style. I get my trousers tailored on my trips to India, the clothe and tailoring is still fantastic. Shirts wise I prefer Indo-European style. They have good color combination and nice fits. Same for suits. Jeans wise I would think American clothiers, Marc Ecko for example, works best for me. Also dont forget the power of a well fitting undergarment. Folks, specially men, are bad at this. A well fitting undies can put a spring in your step. So dont miss out. Probably my weakest link in fashion is watches and belts. Never been too kin on those.

Everyone is fashion conscious unless when they go to buy clothes, they just buy the first thing they come across. Everyone looks for color, style, fitting etc.
