What was the turning point in the Test series?

1. Zaheer's injury 2. India allowing England to score 221 after having them 120/8 in the 1st innings in the 2nd Test. 3. India collapsing in 1st innings of the 2nd Test with 6 wkts falling for 4 or 5 runs whn they were in a position to have a huge lead over England. After point 3, it was all one-way and I don't think anyone else than Dravid even cared about the series.
You got it spot on.

They had injuries as well. Jonathan Trott, Tremlett. It is not like we lost by a whisker. England whitewashed us with bleach. India at no stage threatened England except may be after first innings of second test.

I know that the scheduling for the IPL was insane but blaming a 4-0 whitewash on IPL is just searching for obscure excuses Reason 1)Lack of application:Sehwag's shot in the 3rd test after coming from a layoff has nothing to do with injury,Even VVS played some uppish shots in the 1st test.Raina,Mukund:The less said about better their technique and application is just a joke. 2)Lacking of planning:We blame lack of practice matches but going by that theory shouldn't we have got better in the 3rd test because we had played 5 matches by then including the tour games. Lack of planning in the sense look at the field placings when the tailenders were batting. The amount of runs we gave away in the thirdman region etc I am curious to see what the plan was in the team meeting or what they spoke in the huddle before every test/session bcoz clearly I didn't see any Weak mind:I have said this before and I will say it again dhoni bowling on the 1st day of the 1st test indicates that we have mentally given up.When an injured frontline batsmen is expected to play at no10 or 11 to save the game for the team so should bowlers who need to carry the extra burden in case of such freak occurences. The way Ravi Shastri ranted showed he lost the mind games to Hussain and was just taking out his frustration.England showed agressive bodylanguage and we tried to show useless sportsmanship or spirit or whatever convinient term you want to use. Bell's runout wouldn't have had a huge impact on the outcome but atleast it would have sent a message to the opposition that it is do or die time for us.It was within the rules of the game so why not??? 4)Fire the physio and medical team:Which retarded doctor gave clearence to Zaheer Khan and Sehwag in the firstplace.Even if they got clearence didn't those retards know how their body was feeling,They endedup occupying a slot. Not that there were replacements waiting in the wings but still... 5)Fielding Raina for all his flaws was the best fielder in the squad,Isn't he one of the golden boys of IPL....I agree that we have some aged people in our team but what about catching the damn ball
