"This has been the toughest game of my life", Dhoni spoke, as he let one rip through his orifice propagating the odor of the magnificient chicken briyani of the previous night. As the media was gasping for breath, Dhoni went on to assure the media that the team is in safe hands. "Yes, we are aware that this is our 20th loss in the Tontee Tontee world cup, 40th overall and this is only the 3rd world cup in a row that we are f**k-ing up, only lost 8 tests in a row not too long ago, but remember we beat the world #1 team just a game ago and i also led the CSK to the finals, so lets not panic yet". The media agreed. In the mean time, Virender Sehwag and Drunken Fletcher were seen fighting for the left over samosas from last night's dinner. "These fookers did not pick me alright! They deserve what they got. At least let me have my samosas", vented Veeru. Can't blame him. When you are pregnant you need to eat as often as you can. Bhajji though was his usual eloquent self. "Too bad, I could not complete my quota today. I still had 12 balls to go, but Aussies had only 9 more wickets left. I saw the fear in Warner's eyes when i came to bowl". One team mate whispered, "Did you not see the fear in our eyes, Bhajji" ? Fair question, though. Chawla looked a bit confused, but did not mince any words. "I don't know why I am here, but am happy to do whatever i can for the team", as he let rip another one of his trademark half tracker in the nets, which soon disappeared into the sky. After all, he was bowling to a very talented 65 year old SL batsman of the 70s, Rungawan Talisman Kapawarisinghe. He does not miss those. Rohit as usual was laughing his way to the ATM machine. He does not need to explain his selection. It just happens. "We need to invest in the youth and am young", is all he would say. Fletcher just finished checking his bank account. The pay cheque had been deposited. He was in the middle of writing up a performance report for the team, when someone reminded him that he could use the same one from the previous world cup. He agreed and instead decided to work on the blueprint of Indian cricket for the next decade. In the mean time, Zaheer & Yuvraj were being carried on a stretcher to their dressing room. "We can't waste our energy you see, we need to play at least two more games in the next week". The BCCI though is very hopefuly things will turnaround in 2013. The profits are expected to soar to 125% in 2013, the highest ever in its history. So relax, Indian cricket is in safe hands!

Did you watch the match? I thought you were not into T20. Not that one has to watch it to write anything satirical. Just sayin...
