vvvslaxman Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 22.3 Woakes to Kohli, 1 run, is that a drop? Tough chance but I think Woakes got his hands down, the return punch from Kohli was quick and low and snuck through the fingertips for a single fine of mid-off NEVER MIND 23.2 Jordan to Kohli, OUT, got him, late swing and nicked to slip! A final failure to launch on a dismal tour for Kohli, though he was undone by a cracker of a ball from Jordan, a touch fuller and straighter, he was trying to whip it through midwicket but the ball swerved, clipped the edge and nestled in Alastair Cook's grasp V Kohli c Cook b Jordan 20 (54b 2x4 0x6) SR: 37.03
Magneto Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 hackohli, duckohli, chokohli, dropohli, walking wickohli , Did everything in the same series Batting average is below 40 after 29 Tests. First 5 overseas Tests average - 11.90 Last 5 overseas Tests average - 13.40 :((
Austin 3:!6 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Badly exposed here. Not even 0.1% of where Sachin was at the same age.
adi B Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 today's innings was the worst of the lot.he is completely messed up,be it mentally or technically. he played worse than a tailender today, got dropped, beaten close to a dozen times in his short stay. worst series vs england by an indian batsman(min 4 tests)?probably,i remember sachin struggled against swann and monty at home in 2012,he averaged 18 in that series but at least he was finished by then and also made a 71

Marut Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Sachin's lowest batting average in a 5 test series is 41. And 32 in a 4 test series if you exclude his English tour in 2011. Whatever Kohli may achieve in future, he will be no Sachin.

Whatever Kohli may achieve in future' date= he will be no Sachin. That was obvious from the day he started playing for India. Or even before that.
