He simply wanted to get off strike and get to the non-striker's end. Pant paid the price and that dismissal sealed our loss. Moron did the exact same thing the next Test but thankfully was only able to  run himself out this time.

LOL i guess expectation is that they need to spend 3 hours in nets, doesn't matter if they can't survive 10 balls in actual match.

In that case they should pick me for Team India. I would get dismissed early and hit the nets while the match is still going on. Will leave Gavaskar and everyone with mouth open showcasing my prowess practicing in the nets. After all who cares whether you continue to fail in Tests as long as you hit the nets hard
