Jersey #10 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 yo the best part about Indian sugarcane juice is that it's made fresh on the spot in front of you. If you buy something like that here, it comes in a can with all sorts of chemicals. Same thing with coconut water. It just doesn't taste the same. sugarcane juice with a pinch of salt and jeera *drool*

Somethings are best consumed fresh.

Clarke Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I've heard of some sugarcanes being enhanced by dastardly methods to produce more juice :hmmm:
Lurker Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Here are a few of my choices, aside from those mentioned: a) The aam-ras made from unripe mangoes during summer..Mmmmm fantastic, specially road side waala. b) Bel ka ras, this is more specific to UP-Bihar. again during summer and cools like crazy. c) These days happens to be buttermilk made at home. With dhaniya, ginger, green chilly and chaat masala...slrrrp
