kubrickian Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Still needs to play more FC. He is still only 20. Long time to go.
FischerTal Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 he has talent on the backfoot, but wary on the front. He has shown that he is a big innings player and absorbs pressure, which is good at an early age. 3 years required for him to enter international stage. Hopefully BCCI keeps sending him on A tours
Junyfan Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 modern sehwag, slashing & driving everything outside off with not much foot movement, speak english, write diary, exciting times ahead,:hysterical:

Junyfan Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 lol sehwag is one of the most talented cricketer.
someone Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 None of the choices. He is just a young man with some raw talent. But as usual, we have pre matured orgasm. Needs 2-3 years to be ready for international level. Exactly. It's stupid by many fans and the media to already pressure him so much.
Raghav_12 Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Ian Chappell is big fan of this guy. He repeatedly wrote that im U-19 WC he was only bat who looked belonging to top league.
Sachinism Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Give him time, he's a genius. Big match player, delivered numerous times in games that mattered (finals, qualifiers)
gakgupta Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 He is a good young batsmen learning the game. He is over-hyped but definetly someone to keep an eye on. One other cricketer is Baba Aparanjith If worked hard and with right aspirations, they should be in the team in 2 to 3 yrs time.

DomainK Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 His failure in IPL (so far) may not be a bad sign. May be he will make a good test batsman.
Akash_Cric Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Overhyped/ Jiwanjot Singh is easily best batting prospect in the country(average of over 60 dosent lie). Mandeep SIngh is a close second. Chand is no where close.
vvvslaxman Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Overhyped/ Jiwanjot Singh is easily best batting prospect in the country(average of over 60 dosent lie). Mandeep SIngh is a close second. Chand is no where close. So is Rohit sharma, Badrinath and tons of other domestic giants. Once the ball starts moving around these guys will be exposed. Remember how Navjot Singh Sidhu was pwned by medium pacer Fraser with his movement.
maniac Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 The guy is a hack...Before people attack me for going by IPL performances....fair enough if he gets out for the low scores trying to slog, but no matter what the format is getting out in the 1st over to quality bowlers gives you some indication. Not just to whom he got out but the way he got out  Not made for international level as of now...but is still young so can improve but he is no 2nd coming of Virat leave alone SRT,Dravid,Laxman etc
