G_B_ Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 uthappa is worse :agree: how dare you be critical of the real heir to Bradman
skindia Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 records speaks themselves..chand has strike rate around 65 in domestics
skindia Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 mayank agarwal better than chand even lokesh rahul is better.
FischerTal Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 how dare you be critical of the real heir to Bradman how dare you call uthappa heir to bradman when bradman was uthappa's chela? :poink:
gakgupta Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Right now rahul seems to be better opener than chand........but chand has an exfactor and performed in big matches
diga Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Right now rahul seems to be better opener than chand........but chand has an exfactor and performed in big matches he has not done too badly..may be we will see a 100 in the big match
jalebi_bhai Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 His technique seems a bit loose to me.......but he has shown that he can be a handful when he gets going......
jusarrived Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 difficult to rate an Indain batsmen who cannot drive ... Zol & Rahul seem much better prospects .
saneindian Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 61, 61 and 10 - Not bad by any standards in a tournament where openers have generally struggled.
Cricketics Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 He was the best during his under 19 career. Needs some time to enter into Indian National side. Apparently, the level of cricket he played during u19 cricket is way below than current international standards. He has it in him to perform in international level, but I guess, just like Shikhar, he needs to spend some good amount of time at domestic.
Vilander Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Way too hyped here just like the 'other guy'. :hmmm:
skindia Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 players like sehwag and robin will make 150 against this attack..
FischerTal Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 players like sehwag and robin will make 150 against this attack.. :hysterical::hysterical:
G_B_ Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Being serious Robin really needs to improve his keeping skills. I can potentially see Robin as a batting keeper in the limited over formats. He has a decent IPL record. Now convinced DK is the an option.
SLICKR392 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I don't rate Chand highly but he will come out good in the finals. He is a big match player.
King Tendulkar Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Well the crititcism young chand is getting is OTT But not as stupid as some who for last year have been mentioning his name for inclusion for India team The guy has a lot to learn and improve It will soon become obvious when he is ready. As he will start pumping runs everywere
King Tendulkar Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Seems to be finding his feet now in FC cricket. Some good knocks of late that catching the eye Currently 61 not out for North zone, seems to doing well. Real talent at 20. surely play for India in next 3 or 4 years. Question of when not if!
Zanjeer Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Chand is definitely a good talent. Imo his game can only get better from here. He plays away from the body too much. If he can sort that out, he can definitely play for India in future. I like the idea of going after the ball when it is pitched in his arc, but that doesn't mean you have to play away from the body without any footwork. He has to work on that.
