G_B_ Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 @lord things just happened in 2007. Even Sehwag was a lot younger and threw himself around. A lot of it was mental. You had RP bowling out of his skin for god sake. That entire tournament was a freak event as far as i am concerned. India found heroes from the most unlikely places. Contrast to 2011 win and we were expected to do well. Maybe we need to wait before we judge. If they field like this through the tournament then we can call. I could be a case of all his fixing saga, has caused the team to bind together and perform as a unit in every sense.

Raina and Jaddu :hatsoff: OFcourse Yuvi was there. But Raina and Jaddu are fantastic outfielders as well not just close in fielders. Kohli also covers lot of ground. We had good fielding unit mostly close in field. This is awesome outfield unit.
G_B_ Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 @vvs the new caliber of Indian fielder coming through is good to see. Even Rahane is a very good fielder. Pujara is not bad either. Cant say a single Indian batsman atleast coming through is a bad fielder. For the next match they should replace Ishant with Vinay. We will become an even better fielding unit.
saket123 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I thought the World cup team was the best our fielding could ever get' date=' but glad to be proven wrong. Even that team had lazy movers like Sehwag, Zak, Munaf and Tendu.[/quote'] Tendulkar is definitely NOT a lazy mover.:whack:

I am only talking about fielding.undoubtedly we bowled n batted awesomely when it mattered I remember we dropped a lot of catches v England
vvvslaxman Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Traditionally India's worst fielders are our fast bowlers. Now that Bhuvan can field well and Umesh can atleast run fast that is narrowed as well.

maniac Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Vinay' date='Mohit are good too[/quote'] Haven't seen much of Mohit's fielding but After Sir Aggy,Legend is the best fielder for a seam bowler I have seen in India #respect

veer Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Rohit sharma is relatively a good fielder too.. didnt see KKD though.
maniac Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Rohit sharma is relatively a good fielder too.. didnt see KKD though. KKd is quick in the field....Ground fielding is real good...but his catching is suspect
Vilander Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 :omg: I just realised we did not have Raina in 2007 world T20. :omg: .. nice bumblimas is pretty young..

gaurav92 Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 The side that played in CB series also fielded well in that series down under '08.
