rkt.india Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 you maybe onto something :hmmm: they planned to fix the ashes and root probably wanted a bigger cut of the pie :omg: :agree:

Glancing blow? So Warner couldn't hit him flush, straight on the chin? I guess Warner's fighting is like his batting. He sucks at both. What a worthless player, how does Cricket Australia tolerate these clowns?
Bradman99 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 It’s understood Warner contacted friends ahead of the news breaking, to tell them of the incident and said Root had put a wig on his chin in a taunt Warner took to be aimed at South African batsman Amla. A bit extreme, he needs to take a look at himself Warner does because he clearly has some anger management issues.
Raghav_12 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/international/australia/10114925/David-Warner-dropped-by-Australia-after-punching-Englands-Joe-Root-following-row-over-fake-beard-and-wig.html The Daily Telegraph understands Root was wearing a wig on his head and turned it round into a beard in the Walkabout bar on Broad Street in Birmingham. Warner pulled the beard off before punching Root on the chin. Warner was then pulled away by his Australia team-mates and the small group of England players, believed to include Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes, immediately left the bar. Don't know what problem Warner had with that wig and putting it as beard :dontknow:

Is Amla a friend of Warner? is Joe root a racist?
The Realist Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 WTF are they doing out so late and then getting drunk??? Both teams have serious problems with drinking and alcoholism - seems to happen in every tournament.
coffee_rules Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 childish..he will go out of CA team la Symonds ..
NareshK Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Bizarre chain of events. Root putting on a wig to imitate Amla ? Because of that, Warner punched him ? What was Warner doing in a bar so late when there was a game today ? Is this the discipline Arthur was talking about during their tour to India when they suspended a few players because they didnt do their homework ?
indiaregulator Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 England players go out every night after a game if there is no game in the next few days. ECB even encourages this, it's part of culture. And Joe Root is hardly racist, even if he was imitating Amla's beard.

1983-2011 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Are Amla and Warner friends? They have never played for a same team and I have never seen anything that would show that they are friends. Is Joe Root racist? No. Mushtaq Ahmed, the spin coach of England team also sports a beard and I have not seen anything that would suggest that there has been any fallout between them becuase of their ideologies. Even if Joe Root was imitating Amla and mocking him, would Amla ever resort to violence? No, watch the clip below to hear Amla's comments after he was called a terrorist by Dean Jones. TnseAXgKW_8
G_B_ Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 On the issue of Root trying to imitate Amla. hmm i wont say racist cause i dont know exactly what happened. But not very mature now is it?
1983-2011 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Venue: The Walkabout on Broad Street in Birmingham The night out was organised for a select group of players from both sides - England's Stuart Broad and Steven Finn and Clint McKay and Mitch Marsh of Australia.
