Lord Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 No probs Make him skipper. And I am serious, at least dhoni fanatics cant say he is not in form but hes trundler and not phaast enough :dontknow:
maniac Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Well done-He is a perfect 3rd seamer that will make up a very good attack....Unfortunately we don't have a consistent 1 and 2
FreakazoiD Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Played exceptionally well in the first 2 tests, but poor after that with bat and ball. Very poor on the first day at the Ageas Bowl. Once he lost his mojo, India were down and out. Not sure he will be celebrating this award too much.
kubrickian Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Well deserved Man of the Series. :hatsoff: He was superb with both bat and ball in first two tests and he was primarily responsible for putting India in a good position. From 3rd test, perhaps he got tired and couldnt maintain the same intensity and it reflected in the team's performance as well.
cricketman Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 hes the only bowler who played all 5 tests, batted wonderfully, and was a true work horse. respect bhuvi
sscomp32 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 :yay: :yay: Indian Man of the series and deservedly. :hatsoff:
King Tendulkar Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Tired for last 3 tests??? Why? Broad and Anderson always had to bowl in 2 innings, while BK was only bowling in one as batsman did not get any runs. Yet Broad and Anderson never got tired and kept up high speeds and did the business Fitness issues for BK if that's the case that TIRED!! Needs to work harder to get stronger and with better stamina if that's the case that actually tired!
MCcricket Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 This is a bad sign he became a m/f bowler to a trundler in this series and it is a bad sign, instead of building on his IPL exploits he has lost pace and after two tests batters learnt how to counter him, Dhoni also to blame as he was bowled to death and mediocrity, this guy has the ability to bowl 133 to 140 in test and he could be lethal but he looks like another fatality
adi B Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 MOTS :hatsoff: i still have my reservations on him whether he'll perform well in aus but boy he has done great till now. should have played those 4 tests in saf, nzl,we would have surely won 1 match

Dhoni's captaincy while rotating bowlers also doesnt help the cause.
amiret Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Bhuvneshwar Kumar needs to cut down on his Pace and focus more on line & length.
termination Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Bhuvneshwar Kumar needs to cut down on his Pace and focus more on line & length. What do you mean. Some bowlers become less effective if they start losing pace.
CSK Fan Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 This is a bad sign he became a m/f bowler to a trundler in this series and it is a bad sign' date='instead of building on his IPL exploits he has lost pace and after two tests batters learnt how to counter him, Dhoni also to blame as he was bowled to death and mediocrity, this guy has the ability to bowl 133 to 140 in test and he could be lethal but he looks like another fatality[/quote'] Nothing to do with his being found out, it was the same disease which affected Rahane, overall loss of team spirit and motivation
CSK Fan Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Bhuvneshwar Kumar has bowled 172.5 overs in this series. His pace has dropped. He has looked tired. Yet the accuracy hasn't left him. Over after over he has been nibbling away. He has been one of India's four best batsmen too. No matter how tired he has been, no matter how dispirited, he has fought hard for every single run because it is him who has had to defend them. He has made England earn his wicket almost every time. He has been India's spirit of this tour. He has been their conscience. He was named India's Man of the Series by England coach Peter Moores. India should have got a picture of Bhuvneshwar and stuck it up in the dressing room. When they didn't feel like putting up a fight - and how much can you blame them given their techniques and the state of mind they were in? - they should have looked at Bhuvneshwar's picture and reminded themselves they have to fight for him. He is human, too. He can be forgiven a stray thought, "Who am I doing this for?" He can be forgiven the stray wild drive that signals the leaving of the last bit of spirit. http://www.espncricinfo.com/england-v-india-2014/content/story/771565.html
