Fontaine Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 The thing that stands out for me is that Bhuvneshwar isn't just swinging the ball, he's seaming it as well and with great accuracy. You can see him dismissing batsmen with swing, but also with movement off the pitch because he just angles the seam ever so slightly and his right hand ends up in or outside his left leg to exaggerate that movement. Just really textbook seam position, with great wrist position and follow through.

Compare to another all time great Mcgrath he was as lethal at home as he was in other countries except pakistan which is quite understandable. During the same era of those big three your batsmen had outstanding batting records at home and very ordinary records away from home which is also understandable as Pakistani pitches are flat so scoring is easy. Indian team's good home record is also understandable as they rely more on spinners at home so better home record. what is not understandable is your batsmen who have very ordinary records away like Muddassar, Zaheer and list goes on and on start looking Bradmans and your big three start demolishing perfectly good batsmen who have good records every where like they are tailenders. what do you think was the secret behind such success. This trend is stopped after big three guys like Asif have far better records away from home.
