He was in 130s. not fast at all. The best bowler was Srinath of late. He was really good with speed, accuracy.

Agarkar must be the most underrated Indian bowler in ODI's..he was quick and effective at times and at time as bad as any other indian bowler..

Srinath was. During the Anil Kumble test of 1999 at Kotla, Srinath was bowling at some great speed. and I could easily say he was the fastest Indian bowler ever at that time.

Agarkar at least on TV looked like bowling skidding deliveries ...for me in late 90s he was a ray of hope (other than Srinath). The best thing about him was he would go for wicket taking deliveries which in ODI would end up as boundary balls but would also provide breakthroughs. Much better than 6ft plus duds like Prasad,Doda & Kurvilla.

He was far more talented than he is given credit for. His biggest problem was one four ball every over. It didn't matter if it was a test match or an ODI.

His average speed was quite high, not sure if Srinath's was higher though! He is not given enough credit, but he was our gun bowler in odis.

He got us India's one of the most famous test victory at Adelaide. It is sad to see while Rahul Dravid is given all accolades for that victory, poor Agarkar no one talks about. Can anybody find if Srinath got us any victory of that magnitude?
