Not any catch. They put down the catch who went to score a 100. Very significant wicket from a match context. It would have given him a lot of confidence.
exactly.also would have been his first Test wicket so would have increased his confidence

Well as I see it....we might afford only 1 of binny or jadeja....jadeja adds nothing with the bat and with the ball,not like he is our premier test spinner by some margin.....Ashwin was m.o.s against aus and OJha was our best bowler against England....yes he had a good innings in south Africa but that's it. Before jaddu supporters attack me,he is our main spinner in Odis and he deserves a slot above Ashwin in that format

Ashwin has bowled poorly in overseas tests though.Ojha was even struggling against Aus A batsmen last week :facepalm: I'd myself like Ashwin to be given a chance now but he should be given a longer rope and bat at 7.he wont deliver with ball straightaway but atleast will be good no.7

That is the thing.. He bowled decent first spell. When he was brought back ball was extremely old batsman was on 90. With wide open spaces he can easily go for runs. You can make any bowler look useless with right "strategy" :cantstop: . But even without trying Ishant was mostly useless under Dhoni lol. Still Dhoni is persisting with him. So it is down to his personal choices more than what he is offered . Umesn and Binny did not get even a single Test in NZ and SA. Now he is getting. Umesh discarded but Ishwar pandey brought in.

Jadeja"s is a very accurate spinner...definitely A better selection than binny. Binny is not being bowled because captain has no confidence in him If that's so why was varun aroon not played. I believe varun will bat ahead of shammi and is not a mug with the bat. Specially now when Ishan't and even shammi is not taking wickets...v need Another pacer who helps bhuvi.

This innings will be crucial for binny. If India loose a couple of quick wickets and if Binny fails, this could very well be his last test.

Not backing him. It is about Dhoni not using him while overusing others.. Today he has a brain explsion something nobody can predict. Most of us rated his batting based on what they saw . Nasser Hussain who usually takes a dig at Indian abtsmen, almost all commies did not find anything wrong with his technique as much as they found with Dhoni and Jaddu.
