G_B_ Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 That is a given. But what can he do outside that? does he have to do anything? probably will like to mentor Arjun for 3-4 years and get involved. Sachin is a very approachable person so i am sure a whole host of cricketers or budding India regulars will pay him a visit at home he also have many business ventures in the city currently being handled by his wife
DomainK Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 He is an MP' date=' so I guess we'll see more from him on political front? I don't see him taking up media options.. his voice [/quote'] PM candidate from Congress? :omg:

I buy that but it would be such a loss if a legend of his caliber didn't do anything to improve the world around him. I can't see him in a commentary box!
diga Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 PM candidate from Congress? :omg: Do you remember sachin's captaincy? :--D
Zanjeer Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I think he would spend his time with his family for next 5-6 years. He would come back and do commentary because I don't think he can live without cricket.
bones Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I don't think he's in a position to commentate yet, he'll probably take too much of the limelight even as a commentator. The problem for Tendulkar isn't what he'll do, because with his Resume he'll get anything he wants, it's how he can do with without taking all the limelight away from his colleagues.
Cricketics Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I think he will probably become part of Mumbai's IPL management as batting coach or something which won't make him spend too much time away from home.
Detonator Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 buy an exotic island and take rest for an year or so.. and dont tell the media morons abt its location..
Mariyam Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 A more pertinent question would be: What next, world cricket? Quo vadis?
Vijay.Sharma Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 I hope Sachin does not play any part in public life, be it Sport Administration, Coaching/Consultancy, Celebrity Academies / Funds, or Public Functionaries. I think his legacy would be best served if he continues to remain an enigma to public life. He should be a private citizen and left like that for future generations to build even greater legends of him.
Scarves Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Tendulkar leaves India to live in Bahamas away from the Indian public and media and finally gets some rest from India.
Prakat Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 More Likely scenario: Sachin's wife reveals that he has mistressses. Ukrainian *****s all over the city who he keeps on a weekly schedule and drives to them early mornings in his sports. He also owns a casino in Dubai and a prime hotel in London and Beirut as a front for his gun-running operations. Buying boxed arms from the British Secret Service to supply insurgents in unfriendly regimes. He has a gay lover in Budapest who he has leased a penthouse overlooking the river and in the middle of the shopping district. He is a popular cage-boxer in Rio known as El Nino, or just Nin and his signature move is the two-finger throat puncture. He doesn't fight on Fridays.
randomGuy Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 I hope he picks up any 1 issue for ex. Education, nutrition, healthcare etc and makes India right in that area. He can do it if he tries coz he has peoples trust and would get all their support.

Cricketics Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Tendulkar should have a house in Monaco more than Bahamas. I guess he has enough money to have one in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Most of the rich people live there. Novak has his house there too.
