Fatwins batting is a reason why could be prefered over others. Apart from oijha no good spinner lurking? Rassol? Chawla and mishra not good enough. Mishra is fatter then fatwin and even more lazy Bhaji anyone?:giggle: well, I meant to say that he can afford personal trainers and follow a strict diet. Its no rocket science. If he really wants, he can reduce weight. Question is how bad he wants it. looks like he is taking things for granted since dhoni is backing him no matter how bad he bowls.

NareshK Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 He is trying too many things in one over, instead of bowling orthodox and mixing it up occasionally with variations. If you notice his bowling, there are too many variations in pace and deliveries like doosra, carom ball, stopping and bowling, leg spinner almost every delivery and therefore losing his line and length and bowling too short and wide. If someone has to bowl all those variations well, he needs to put in a lot of effort in the nets. He is also not very fit which means he can't really work hard enough because he could get tired easily. Unless he works on his fitness and works a lot on his variations regularly, he will never become the strike bowler he wants to be.

If you have a great stock delivery complemented by subtle variations you will more often than end up being a good bowler. Ashwin has to work on his stock delivery (which is his conventional off spin) more. In the process of adding variations he is hurting his stock delivery more. It is fun to learn to bowl leg spin. Murali has also bowled. But Murali never compromised on his stock delivery which is huge off break. Ashwin on the other hand he wants to specialize in every variations.

Narine has not taken any wickets in last 6 out of the 7 matches he's bowled in! Since the tri series, record reads 7 matches, 4 wickets@69. Had he been an Indian, there would have been calls for him to be thrown out of the team by now.

He at least would a decent ER because teams try to play him out rather than giving him wickets. While teams here are attacking Ashwin.

Just cant seem to stop runs leaking. To be honest could not care less if took wickets as long as good economy rate. If he bowled with good economy in this series with no wickets, we would be 3-0 up Maybe confidence down as Jadeja always out bowls him and jadeja meant to be second fiddle. Maybe bhaji darts needed, yes never took wickets or turned it but always had good economy rate:giggle:

His bowling style in T20s was much different from his style in test and ODIs. Then this disgusting natraj poses with that big ass. Trying too many variations all the time.

May be we need Bhajji back? or Dhoni needs to use Yuvi more often.
