The fastest bowl ever bowled was recorded by Sohaib Akthar against England in 2003 with a speed of 161.3 If Johnson maintains this form, can he break this barrier and become the fastest bowler in the history? Please discuss.

maniac Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Johnson is consistently fast more in the Brett lee mould...Tait is a freak but not suited for long spells as his test career clearly suggests,the guy couldn't even last to have a decent ODI career lol.....I would take someone like Johnson who would bowl consistent spells in the 145-150 range throughout a test match and crank it up when in rythum or to the tail.

Malcolm was mid 140 odd, Donald was similar. Roberts I don't know about and Bond was touch and go 150's
