Misbah's only problem is that he has only two gears, either block it or smash it. He doesn't have the middle one. But overall he's probably the sanest cricketer Pakistan has produced in recent years.

Misbah is like a pill that Pakistan cant spit nor swallow, He's the best batsman you have in terms of building an inning, but his strike rate will always build pressure and eventually bring your downfall, you have no other option but to make him a captain, simply because you don't have anyone who could replace him at international level, he cant lead from the front and inspire a team because he doesn't have the skills to do that. I see you guys being stuck with Misbah forever. PCB should take a leaf out of CSA's book and make Sohaib Maqsood the captain like they did with Graeme smith, he looks calm under pressure and aggressive with the bat and can turn out as a good leader.

Maybe he has the potential to become a leader, but I think its still early days. Maybe put him as understudy to Misbah for a year atleast. Smith had played more than a year's Int cricket, 22 ODIs and 8 test matches before he was given captaincy.
