Last loss to NZ was almost too unbelievable even for Indian bowling standards ... almost 600 runs for wickets 6,7,8 ... hmnnn. ok so we are starting to presume things now if captain of pakistan fixed in test match without hesitation that means it was culture of captains before and this fixing in pakistan has been going on since imran :--D

Who knows if dhoni is involved in fixing.There has to be an investigation in to the matter.But for sure the day after srini saved his captaincy dhoni has to do what srini says.He tried to saveG.m by saying he was a just a cricket enthusiast and not involved in cricketing affairs.Also Rhiti sports manages csk .

A report submitted to the panel by IPS officer G. Sampath Kumar, SP, Railways, Tiruchirappalli, not only throws the shadow of suspicion over cricketers as big as M.S. Dhoni and Suresh Raina, but also leads the trail of muck back to the dreaded 'D' Company of the underworld through Dawood Ibrahim's brother Anees. Sampath has given details of the interrogation of alleged 'kingpin' bookie Utham Jain alias Kitty, who is established as a key figure involved in betting and spot fixing. He further implicates hotelier Vikram Agarwal, with whom he was personal friends. Vikram is alleged to have warned Kitty to keep his mouth shut, warning him further by taking Anees Ibrahim's name. The report states: "Vikram Agarwal told Kitty not to open his mouth, he also warned that Anees Ibrahim, brother of Dawood Ibrahim, executed one Delhi Inspector and his wife as the Inspector found a link with cricket betting and Anees Ibrahim's gang. The Delhi Police Inspector Badish Dutt and one Geetha Sharma was killed by Anees Ibrahim gang to silence the inspector [sic]." Talking about a possible match-fixing plot during the infamous Chennai-Rajasthan match on May 12, 2013, when Chennai scored 141 runs according to Gurunath's prediction to his cohort Vindoo Dara Singh, the report states: "Vikram Agarwal told him [Kitty] that there was negotiation for match-fixing between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings and Meiyappan has to communicate to Chennai Super Kings captain M.S. Dhoni and few others for finalisation. "Later, Kitty came to know that they were planning to fix the match between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings scheduled on 12.05.2013. Again on 27.04.2013 also, after the dinner party, negotiation was on and Vikram Agarwal informed to Kitty some deal was worked out. Later, after dinner party Meiyappan has informed that Chennai Super Kings M.S. Dhoni has agreed to play as per plan and his team will score 140 runs." Vikram allegedly has shady contacts in UAE and Singapore, while Gurunath has links in Australia.

Sampath Kumar, who named MS Dhoni, suspended IPS officer Sampath Kumar, who had deposed before the Supreme Court committee probing the Indian Premier League match-fixing and betting scandal, has been suspended by the Tamil Nadu government. No reason has been given for this decision. Sampath Kumar, had told the Justice Mukul Mudgal committee that Tamil Nadu police officers had avoided investigating the match-fixing angle to the May 12, 2013, IPL tie between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. The police officer's statement, carried widely by the Indian media, links Mahendra Singh Dhoni's name with allegations made by bookies. (Dhoni's name in secret inquiry report) Sampath Kumar told in a note to the Mudgal Committee, set up last October by Supreme Court, to conduct an independent inquiry into the allegations of corruption against Gurunath Meiyappan and Chennai Super Kings team owner India Cements. Sampath Kumar, who initially investigated the betting racket for two weeks while he was working in the Q Branch, a state intelligence wing, came under the scanner himself when one of the arrested bookies, Mahendar Randak, told police that he collected 55 lakh from several bookies and punters on the officer's instructions. The money was allegedly handed over to a few people close to Kumar, the bookie had alleged. CB-CID officials seized Rs 55 lakh and about 10kg silver from them. Though Kumar was questioned, he claimed Randak merely helped him repay old debts. He was transferred out of the Q Branch, but no further action was taken. The Tamil Nadu CB-CID police on Wednesday asserted that investigation covering all "relevant factors" including IPL match-fixing and betting were under progress. "We are investigating in all angles; whether it is betting on IPL matches or match fixing following emergence of new leads. All relevant factors are being looked into and these will be reflected in the charge sheet," a top official of the investigative agency said speaking on the condition of anonymity. Reportedly, CB-CID chief Narinderpal Singh wrote to DGP K Ramanujam recently recommending Sampath Kumar's suspension and his custodial interrogation. "Kumar, while deposing before the commission, levelled baseless allegations against his former colleagues in the state intelligence wing as well as senior CB-CID officials to preempt any further action against him in the betting racket," a source in the state police said.

Sources said he was suspended as the government was considering taking disciplinary action against him; but the authorities did not specifically state if the action was taken against him for his alleged role in seeking a bribe while investigating the IPL case. Amidst indications that the Crime Branch CID could seek his custody for interrogation officials said that Sampath, posted as Superintendent of Police (Railways) at Tiruchy in central Tamil Nadu, has been asked not leave the city of his posting without permission from the Principal Secretary, Home Department. Sampath, who had investigated the IPL betting scandal when he was with the Q Branch, was moved out midway during the probe, after a bookie, Mahendar Ranka, alleged that he had given him Rs 53 lakh as bribe to be let off the hook. However, Sampath had given Rs 30 lakh to the CB-CID officers, claiming that the money was recovered from the bookie. Soon after the Mudgal Committee report was filed in the Supreme Court earlier this month, it came to light that Sampath had in his deposition indicted Dhoni and a few other cricketers saying they were in touch with a bookie Kitty, alias Utham Jain, who was an acquaintance of former Chennai Super Kings owner Gurunath Meiyappan. In subsequent media interviews Sampath had, much to the consternation of senior police officers here, reiterated the charge and said that in his view the IPL scandal should be probed by the National Investigation Agency. Senior police officers, including Crime Branch CID head Narinder Pal Singh, were furious over his statements. Singh is even learnt to have written to the Tamil Nadu Director General of Police seeking Sampath’s suspension. “He was making these allegations to pre-empt the CB-CID from proceeding against him in the bribery case,” a police officer claimed. Singh was of the view that Sampath did not have any business to obtain statements from the bookie implicating Dhoni or others as the officer was in no way linked to the IPL inquiry.
