Selectors have no clue what so ever, it's a joke now, arshdeep needs game time, umesh gets picked ahead of Siraj in the squad but was no where in the reckoning since the last 3-4 years, a decent ipl season and he is picked again but different parameters for Mohsin, umran, prasidh, dayal, Choudhary who all did better than umesh in the previous ipl season.

Have to call into question the level of coaching in domestics especially for fast bowling. 

 

Bowlers not having the requisite natural ability is understandable. But when very few bowlers come in with decent mechanics,  that's unpardonable. 

 

Arshdeep's action simply won't let him have a long, effective career . 

 

Can't the BCCI invest in biomechanics training for state coaches. What is the point of being the richest board when lesser boards do a better job?

Kuldeep took wickets when no other bowler could.  Mukesh just managed 1 wicket in flat conditions.

 

Picking 8 wickets in a match is no joke.

 

Plus Kuldeep dismissed Pujara twice.

 

  Mukesh MoM??? Is this a *ing joke? Thought Sen had got MoM. Sen got 8 wickets in the match and 5fer in 2nd innings when pitch got even more slower and flatter. Got a guy like Pujara out twice cheaply and played a huge role in winning this match. He clearly deserved it. This is pathetic and clearly biased

Use and throw Umesh while keeping that spot open for their favourite trundlers. Any young quick bowler might challenge that place if played.

If there is so much trundler bias in a televised game, just imagine what happens otherwise.

Bro, I was not watching for some time but Hotstar was on. Heard the commentator say " he beat him in flight and it took the outside edge, but it still went for a 6 "

 

Looked at the screen expecting Ashwin or maybe even Axar as the bowler.

If Siraj was amongst matches in the T20 format, he might have done even better.

 

Looks like a decent replacement for Bumrah because of his quick accurate yorkers at the death.
