Depends on his rhythm.

 

I guess this fluctuation will keep on happening as he is a rhythm bowler.

 

Good thing is that even on his slower days, he still crosses 90 mph.

With the important Test Championship series coming up, it is better that Bumrah is not going flat out.  Just needs some match practice in these matches.

Why can't he be groomed as the specialist pacer who can bat somewhat !!

 

He is a proper frontline fast bowler and won't be a compromise on the bowling front like Shardul.

 

Obviously, he needs to practice his batting some more ... but some batting ability is obviously there.
