Wait run rate this innings is 4.7?? WTF

This is embarrassing especially the fielding. I expect this match to be lost as now everything would depend on the second innings and the momentum is entirely lost.

Why are guys like Shardul in the side? 1.5 billion people who are cricket crazy and that’s the best we’ve got??
Siraj should be thrown out if he doesn’t produce wickets.

Siraj is bowling so slow now, even someone like Carse is comfortable going back on his back foot and placing it where he wants with time to spare.

Woakes is horrible against quick bowling usually. Hes enjoying Prasidh lol.

143

This is very high pace in a test match. Especially later in an innings and bowled with zip, accuracy, bounce, seam and swing.

@Mosher, @Suhaan, @singhvivek141, @rollingstoned, @Rightarmfast, @Lone Wolf@MK55, @rkt.india @tapandrun, @tweaker, @vishalvirsingh, @bouncers

V.ggod pace bracket this is where bhumrah has to be inorder to be more effective in tests

Bumrah 144 k indipper kept out by Bashir.

bowling 145K with an old ball....this is serious Speed.

Boom bowled yorkers at 145k regularly and thats how he got 5 wickets.

Prasidh finally bowled fast and got 3 wickets.

Siraj also at least managed 2 wickets and we dont have better options then him , we need to be truthful.

22 overs and no wickets- what is JADDU Doing

what is shardul Doing???

Shardul backers are even more fraud here,I never liked him ,yes with Pandua not playing red ball he got his opportunity but it should have been curtains there and then not waiting for inevitable disaster same goes with Jadeja

Prasidh haa to be told to keep it simple and bowl as fast as possible by hitting the pitch hard, appears the kind to need his hand held like nehra did at GT. When he does that he can be an asset. In general Indian bowlers are struggling to bowl dry when not much is happening.

Prasidh has the fitness of a tier 3 cricket team. Imagine him bowling in SENA right after IPL

Missing Shami.

I know he has a high average in England ... but he used to keep up the pressure from the other end with accurate, zippy quick balls.

That is important too.

Even a currently slower Shami looks better than our support pacers.

Shami high average in England don't shows how unfortunate he was in those tours. He used to beat bat at will but could not found edge. Could recall one such spell against Moeen Ali, when Ali used to bat at 3. He beaten him atleast 3 times in every over he bowled to him,  but couldn't get his wicket.

Odd spell doesn't mean much. He was mostly rubbish in England.

He touched 147? That's quick. Unfortunately, the speeds are being shown on hotstar.

However, I had heard Sanjay Manjrekar say, pre match, that despite Bumrah not being a 145-150 bowler, he is phenomenal. He normally says great things about Bumrah, but I wonder why he had to say this.

Saw atleast 2 balls at 147 k , 2 or 3 more at 146 k and lots at 144 k / 145 k by Bumrah.

That's typical negative mindset of some of these Indian commentators. Bumrah bowled 145 to 150 k spells in his quickest years.

Now, after 9.5 years in international cricket, it is commendable that he still bowls within 3 kph of that in his quicker spells.

Manju and Co will never dare say the same thing about a foreign pacer like Cummins or Rabada, who are often slower than Bumrah in tests.
