That Harshit’s last over 1st ball was slower one..was a lollypop bowl..lazy hit me six ball.. easily hit by Santner.. Harshit needs to work on meditation/yoga whatever but need practice to keep focus throughout.. you have to bowl with purpose in each and every of your 24 balls esp in T20s Edited January 25 by Need4Speed raki05 and express bowling 1 1
nsareen Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) I was watching U16 vijay merchant on Hotstar , Kartik Kumar the quick from mumbai was consistent around 133-136 , i did not see the whole match but heard the commentators say 140 .. that’s pretty quick for 15-16 yrs old .. Best part was he is an allrounder and has scored a lot of runs this season .. Only problem which is a trend now a days , all such hyper quick bowlers before their age are short in height , the batsmen were taller than him .. i reallly don’t know why this happens .. Ya the most irritating thing is following S Mavi pattern…. These guys dont want to put effort ball.. I remember him bowling 153 and several 148 to 150 delivery in his debut eng series which india won because of him came as substitute. But now he is following Avesh Khan and S mavi pattern who just to elongate their career dont want to put hard yard , don’t bowl all out pace rather choose to trundle and bowl slower ones. Pathetic attitude. express bowling 1

Pathetic attitude. Don't think harshit does it intentionally. He has very poor biomechanics so will always be inconsistent. If things click, he will be quick. If doesn't, he will vary. raki05 and Rightarmfast 1 1

Rightarmfast Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Ambarish in the U19 team looks sharp. Whether fast or not, he looks very promising. So similar to Devendran express bowling, speedster and tweaker 3

So similar to Devendran yes i agree. - he is sharp - speed in 130's. - he clean bowled a batter by a yorker which looked good. i am not saying he is ready to play for india now but yes he can come to represent india some times. any latest on mayank yadak/umraan khan express bowling 1
deepdynamo Posted January 28 Posted January 28 The current fast bowling group is a step down from the previous setup for sure. Bumrah is common in both groups. Bumrah, Siraj, Akashdeep, Arshdeep, Rana, Prasidh vs Ishant, Shami, Umesh, Bumrah & Bhuvi speedster 1

Bumrah, Siraj, Akashdeep, Arshdeep, Rana, Prasidh vs Ishant, Shami, Umesh, Bumrah & Bhuvi Prasidh has been a big disappointment, very Nanty Hayward-ish, he was high on pace but little else, a classic example of how pace alone doesn't suffice. Also Rana is headed down the same path but without the pace even. Hope we get another bowler who is like Mayank but can sustain. The team setup in Ranji Trophy doesn't inspire confidence, all one sees his spinner paced trundlers and spin bowlers who can't spin, the quality for tests is so poor

He does look visibly quick. Beautiful run up and action and a great fighting attitude. Hits the right lengths and is always looking menacing. Somebody like a Tyagi isnt a regular in his local Ranji side after so many years (injuries apart), this should not happen to this duo Edited January 28 by speedster Rightarmfast 1

He needs to strengthen his core and his glutes. Some of our bowlers will find it tough to focus on strength training because they are playing every damn format and then playing domestic
