Dinesh Karthick said that Arshdeep is likely to be a sure started even if Bumrah is there.  Zaheer was dreaming about Bumrah and Arshdeep bowling in tandem.

 

And most Indians have forgotten that Arshdeep has bowled in just 1 ODI in his life with poor results.

 

Most Indians can't demarcate between ODIs and T20Is and their different needs.

 

Which is why we are not winning any Cups these days.

Siraj, Arshdeep, Umran, Kuldeep, Shardul - main squad

Mohsin, Yash Dayal, Prasidh - Injured 

Tyagi hasn't done anything in FC this season so understandably he is not in

His stats are decent in VHT....sometimes one should pick the bowlers on potential alone instead of toiling them for years in domestics.

 

Navdeep Saini is a prime example, we are 3 year late in giving him the debut and now he is nearing 30 with not much to show.

the new karnataka pacer "Kaverappa"- 6ft 5 inch guy who took 4 for 40 is becoming talk of the town..any idea of his Pace?? how good is he?

 

he generates big bounce on indian patta's too so if he increases his pace a bit , i think he is under 140K now , he has to start bowling 140 to 150 K with that bounce he will become what kuldeep sen is doing now.

Mark Wood has shown they can bowl 150k in their 30s in a test series like last years Ashes .This might have had an effect on starc. 

Mark wood is knee or hip dominant? Mark wood also hasn't played much cricket. Had injuries but fatigue isn't there. Starc has played a lot in 11 years.

Australia have not picked Boland in the 11, even though he picked 18 wickets in 3 tests earlier this year. He may get picked only when someone is injured. 

 

They don't like medium pacers even when they are performing in certain conditions. Because they know that medium pacers don't work in most conditions. And the intimidation factor is missing too.

 

And this is the reason why Australia has been the best team of the last dew decades.
