He is another suspicious omission from domestics, a left armer who can bowl at high pace, has good stats in all 3 formats. Yet can't find a place in weak team like Andhra consistently.

 

SZ is dominated by TN, KA. With very less players from AP, hyderabad and Kerala.

He is faster. Clocking 140-147 on Stalker Sports Radar. Video you posted is older, last year's.

What keeps them going are constant encouragement and a positive team environment for fiery wicket taking bowling.

 

If they are treated as unwanted or their bowling with effort and pace are not appreciated then what is left are the exhaustion, pain and niggles. 

 

Most Indians don't understand this and this why we did not get good quicks.  Kohli, Arun and Shastri were among a few who understood this and got the results.

We need some absolut thrashings. Like first round ko everywhere. Lose at home too. 

 

Until we have a captain that endorses fast bowling like kohli did we won't reach the heights we did under him ever again 

 

Sure we made some poor selection calls in icc tournaments with kohli and yes we lost the wtc due to bad prep and injuries, but the team at times looked unpalatable when the bowlers were in form. Fiery spells from all 3 4 bowlers. Intimidating bowling. Good set ups etc. 

 

Ever since dravidiot took over, we have gone back early 90s level in every department.

In India fast bowlers are treated like 2nd class citizens and batsmen like God. Fast bowlers need all the encouragement they can get and a positive environment around them especially when one serious injury can derail their careers. It takes a special mindset to keep bowling fast and that too on the unresponsive pitches in India. Mad respect to all Indian fast bowlers who kept bowling fast even after many injuries.

Harshit was bowling his fuller balls quite well in the IPL.  These are young guys and some up and down will happen in their execution from time to time.

 

Mayank was very impressive with both his fuller and shorter balls and was using surprise bounce and follow up fuller balls very effectively.

Naseem atm is the closest thing to young Steyn.

i appreciate kohli,arun and shastri for that.

Since Dravid has taken over - not a single pace bowler has succeeded where as during Shastri's times - boom was a BOMB and shammi, ishant and Umesh were called out as deadly bowlers and they delivered results too.

what you have said is perfectly TRUE- fast bowlers need to be taken care and encouraged. we have Umran and he is definitely not getting the kind of training that he deserves.
