Peak run up speed and run up speed at release are some good additions for live stats. 

 

Also speeds are displayed faster in this tournament. A bit better than what we’ve been seeing lately. The bar was low.

 

They should focus more on such live stats than  these useless prediction related numbers.

Shastri is a fake aggressive guy. He used to bat very very very slowly and bowled slow darters without much spin. This despite being 6'4" and having lots of hitting power. 

 

It is very clear to me now that our 2016 to 2022 pace revolution was almost purely due to Kohli and Arun. Shastri had very little to do with it.

 

It is probably a generation thing too. Most of the older Indians have a defensive mindset. A younger Rohit, in his 30s, who does not come across as an aggressive person, still prefers quick, deck hitting pacers in tests and ODIs. He preferred an all quick attack ... Bumrah, Shami, Siraj, Prasidh and Hardik in the 2023 WC. @maniac  .  And he is preferring Harshit over Arshdeep now. Kohli and Bumrah like quicks as captains too.

Sometimes I feel these guys are too awed by the opposition and 90's Pakistan as if they're an alien.
