MK55 Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 Starc bowling 145 clicks in his 11th and Brett Lee and the other Aus commentators are constantly talking about his pace. Love this. tapandrun and express bowling 2

Control might not be there always but still. True. Harshit's speeds have been a big disappointment in this series. Reduced every match and reduced in every spell in the same match. While Prasidh has bowled 140 k to 145 k whenever needed. Fastest of 146 k. Edited December 6, 2025 by express bowling Suhaan, Mosher, raki05 and 1 other 1 3
MK55 Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 I hope Harshit and Prasidh continue to improve. Ability to bounce back is very important and this should give Prasidh some confidence. Morkel should try n do something for Prasidh’s telegraphed slow ball issue lol. Guy has the worst slow ball I’ve seen. Line n length grunt man Arshdeep kept it tight. Hopefully another 145 plus (consistently) quick joins them soon. express bowling, Suhaan, Mosher and 1 other 4

MK55 Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 I’m loving this trend of so many former cricketers and even some active ones having YouTube channels or collab channels. Broad, Joss Butler, Damien Fleming, Gillespie, McGrath, Clarke, Ashwin, Nasser, Athers etc. we need more. tweaker 1

And even that inconsistent pace is going away. Harshit's quickest deliveries in the last 2 matches is 141.x kph both times. And he is often dropping down to early 130s. His fastest balls in the last 7 LOIs 141.7 143.0 142.1 140.7 144.2 141.6 141.5 This is not pace from a newbie. Bumrah, in his 10th year, is faster than this in test matches. Suhaan and Mosher 2
Nikhil_cric Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 This thread should not just be about pace , although that is important. That middle overs bowling by the Indian seam trio was impressive. They were extremely accurate with their lines and it was all within the stumps or hugging that sixth stump line. Prasidh got the breakthroughs because he was the quickest of the lot. Even when Rana and Arshdeep got hit for sixes, they persisted with tight lines and didn't make it easy for the Saffers. Line bowling is far more important in ODIs , especially outside the powerplay. tweaker and Suhaan 2

Line bowling is far more important in ODIs , especially outside the powerplay. If one wants to be a top pacer in international cricket then it's important that he does not choose " either / or ". Wayward pace won't work in the long run and neither would cutting pace for accuracy. Tight lines are very important but if it is achieved by bowling much slower then it is a bad habit being developed. Suhaan and Mosher 2
