G_B_ Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 hmm diisappointed in shami thus far. hope to be proven wrong.
kubrickian Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Funny thing about Indian bowlers is they never do well when you expect them but when you least expect it, they spring a surprise and get the opposition down to 6 or 7 wickets cheaply only to get everyone's hopes up and then let the tail wag. Hope I'm proved wrong today.
Debutant Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 don't expect Shami to perform on field much. Must be concerned more about his off field performances now :giggle:
JourneyMan Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 It's a good pitch but I hope our bowlers use it well and bowl the right deliveries. We don't have anyone on the pitch to provide guidance on how to bowl on these pitches, so I hope they are well prepared. England's bowlers missed a few tricks yesterday. The first session wasn't used to maximum potential, and for some reason Plunkett kept bowling short.

This is type of pitch where shami made his name few years ago...let's hope he uses his brain and keeps full instead of bowling short like he usually does Also there is matter of catching at slips which has literally costed us series against New Zealand :((
Old guy Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 He will make 5 babies sure. He bowled well and there was one drop off him
