The difference has been lower order batting and Vijay. Also our bowlers like shami bhvi have kept the runrate down so ishant can attack.

BK batting should be the surprise factor for everyone. We all knew that all our batters had talent but for Bhuvi to come at 9 and score 3 50s is simply unbelievable. He scored when it mattered most in both innings so i would rank his contribution higher than Vijay right now. If India continue to play like this i dont see England winning any test match in the rest of the series. Dhawan, Pujara and Kohli will definitely come good in the remaining matches. All we need is Shami to bowl better and we can easily win this series. Lets just hope that happens!

I think VJ's & bhuvi's determination need to rub off on the team especially Kohli. Most surprising was that everyone knew their role well & tried to do it well. Also when the team was in trouble they gave some more effort which was great to see . Another surprising thing was cook' s awful captaincy vs tailenders with 5 men on the boundary & his awful form with the bat.

Dharmasena robbed him off plumb lbws against Moeen and Plunkett and a catch was dropped by Dhoni off Moeen.

Totally out of form openers in both England and Australia. Sachin/Laxman in England and Dravid/Laxman in Australia were all at sea. Laxman was the worst of all, which was quiet surprising since he had a good tour in West Indies with a couple of 80s, then you had Dhoni in the middle order and who was the replacement for Raina?- Yuvraj. Most pitches we played on were 300 par.

Of all the six tests this young team has played (SA,NZ and Eng) only one innings you can really say they failed, they gave bowlers a score with which they could do something in every test they played and that is most heartening thing. Murali Vijay has been the unsung hero of this tour man what a performance from him.

Nothing A loss in SA and NZ surprised me :D Honestly even BKs batting I have always been a fan , hes a little weak against spin but if he gets that sorted he can be a Top 6 bat . No compariosn with Irfan .
