Not everyone has to get certain number of chances before getting discarded. Rohit certainly doesn't belong to the category that deserves a long rope. Badrinath and Rohit is not a valid comparison. Badrinath did not have age on the side.He did not have the same kind of start to his career that ROhit had. Also,Why should one overlook performances on S.C?SO do wins don't count there,Not enough of a sample size to dump him yet. See how many games players who have had a decent start to their careers have got before totally being discarded.....7 tests is not enough. There is VVS Laxman's(the Poster) hate world and one the other side there is something called being fair and acting logically

So be prepared to be disappointed lol If you give someone a 1000 chances odds are he will do well once in a while That should not be a criteria.

With Pankaj Singh it is obvious he has no quality,how can you compare with someone who has 2 100's,A notout and a 50 in 7 tests.

However I do agree that he shouldnt be written off and can be backup player as long as we play 5 bowlers

At whose expense did Binny come in?It was obvious he was in as batsman who could bowl seam up at 5th bowler but Dhoni batted him at 8 and didnt give him enough bowling and dropped him.Thats not fair chance by any means. only Irfan and Rishi were alternatives.Irfan I believe is injured whereas Rishi doesnt convince me with his batting

If he had done that, he would have got a lot of movement. Another thing was trying too many things, all he needed to build pressure by bowling in the same channel. But he was not doing that.

I already told umpteen times that is his variation. He does not have an inswing like BK or Anderson. H e bowls with cross seam, not scrambled seam when he wants the ball to go straight for variation to go with his outswing. He got Cook on that delivery last match but dropped by Jaddu. Otherwise, he has a very good seam and has a good outswinger. I hope he sticsk to his outswinger more and keep it going consistently.
