Pankaj's seam looked totally wobbly from release till hitting the deck. If he can really bowl with upright seam, then he should start doing that more often. I think only Ryan Harris bowls with similar seam but his release is unique that allows him to move the ball a lot after pitching. Asif was quite similar.

They are erring too much in their lines. If you cannot stick to right line, you are not going to be really successful. You can vary your length like Broad did but line is far more important, not too straight, not too wide and be patient. Patience is the key. The time you try too hard, try to bowl magic deliveries, wicket every ball, you are bound to fail more often.

Either the ball is to set up a batsman for one of the next few deliveries, or it is to trap him. His place is a dead certain in his side. Pankaj is in a position where he must grab it or he can kiss good bye to his career. I think his problem is for each ball he spends so much energy and by the time he finishes 6th ball he looks exhausted like he ran a 100 meter race. It is affecting his accuracy. He looks slightly leaner in Irani Trophy. Here he looks all muscly with a bit of fat around waist. . Wonder he hit the gym a bit too much for upper body workout. With such a huge frame he needs to shed some weight.

179/0 in his debut test. It's like a batsman contributing 2 ducks in two innings of a test match. Following it with 50/0 thus far in the 4th test. Surely,he has to pick at least couple of wickets in this innings. He seemed to me as pick of the domestic pace bowlers and i didn't expect such performance from him.
