He made his FC debut in 1999-00. He had already played a few years of FC cricket before that. Lot of FC cricketers do some other govt jobs in sports quota. Harbhajan Singh was a policeman.

But I doubt if somebody would make some a TTE in honour :cantstop:

While Dhoni got a sports quota job which most of the domestic players get. Though even Harbhajan's DSP post will be considered as sports quota pick. Even Joginder Sharma has some post in Haryana police.

Ayways I preferred him over Modi,Pawar or even Dalmiya(despite all 4 of them being crooks equally) because from what I have seen,he has more cricketing accumen than all those 3 combined.He knows and respects cricket history and is a fan of test cricket but after this statement I doubt it
