Not true. Batting out 90 overs is not that difficult, especially on this wicket. Winning is nearly impossible as we would have to chase around 400 in around 83 overs (my guess). So go for the draw, leave as many balls as possible and frustrate the bowling. Play only balls that you need to play, and there is a high chance of drawing. The confidence from a draw in Australia could be crucial to the team for the remaining tests.
