So let it be with the third umpire. but they end up saying, we dont want DRS instead.

Do cricketers from subcontinent have below average IQ? Whats there to understand DRS when other countries are using it?

They see howlers against us, and go if DRS were present you would still be there and if howler goes against opposition they say India doesn't want DRS because they want to win by cheating and BCCI has bought the umpires. This stubborn stance isn't helping us either way. Look at it from umpire's perspective. If they give decision in favor of us people will allege they are working at BCCI's behest but if they makes all mistakes against us they can always play the DRS card. BCCI diktat also forcing players to resonate the board's stance reg this issue. We are in a mess and shooting ourselves in the foot. Had DRS been there i) We would have competed better in 2011 Eng series where many calls went against us ii) we would have won 2012 homes series against Eng-remember Dar was 12th man for Eng whole series iii) we would have drawn the RSA series, Kohli was given out wrongly on day 5 in Durban iv) We would have won NZ series where a number of decisions went against us esp in the test we lost v) We would have done better in Eng series this year. Bell plumb lbw not given in Southampton helped him get 175 runs and was the turning point of that series.
adi B Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Umpires wil make mistakes again and again (even more so against india),u can blame them all u want but the damage will be done and more damage would be inflicted so its best to implement drs and rectify those umpiring mistakes.. bcci should keep their massive ego aside and 'dil pe pathhar rakhke' opt for drs,everyone will acknowledge and welcome this decision and moreso the umpires won't get away with the howlers
