Trichromatic Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 He has already lost a test series for us in NZ?
Trichromatic Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 So he has taken 12 catches as close in fielder and dropped 10. That record is extremely poor. Stuge 1
SK_IH Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 both kohli and warner are overated fielder, both cant catch a ball as close in fielder

Kohli at covers and Warner In the deep are damn good. Just like Jadeja : good at ground Fielding..overrated catcher.
Gollum Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Not just Kohli, there are 7-8 very poor catchers in this XI. And what is Sridhar doing? You mean to tell me that after being fielding coach for 3+ years he still hasn't figured out who should stand in the slip cordon. I have a bad feeling about this, our abysmal catching may prevent us from a few historic overseas wins this cycle.
Tibarn Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Look through this thread Kohli has been poor catching for a long time.
Texan Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Kohli is exceptionally poor in the slips. Every time a catch goes to him, there's only a 50-50 chance that he will take it. Has to be among the worst records. Unfortunately, we don't really have a very good slip catcher since Dravid retired. Rahul is another 50-50 candidate. Rahane is probably the best we have, but have seen him also drop some catches. Serious work required here. Fielding coach should be pulled up for these lapses. What the heck is he doing. Just earning free bucks for poor show is unacceptable.
express bowling Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Kohli should not be a close-in fielder. He is a poor poor close-in catcher. Mosher and Stuge 2
Temujin Khaghan Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 (edited) OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F**K OFF VIRAT KOHLI FROM CLOSE CATCHING POSITIONS... P.S... sorry guys but frustration.... :\ Edited August 5, 2017 by Temujin Khaghan
Temujin Khaghan Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Legendary batsman, but wtf!! he is kamranakmalesque at taking catches Venkatesh Prasad was better than this lol
Gollum Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Wish our commentators stop hyping up Kohli as a great fielder. If you are such a pathetic catcher, you can't be called a great fielder even if your out fielding is top class. Kohli in my mind is the worst Indian catcher since I started following the game. Kamran Akmal of fielding. Texan 1

Gollum Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Now Dhawan drops a dolly. Rot is much deeper, does this Sridhar clown have no shame?Sent from my SM-G350E using Tapatalk
