I don't think this is completely masala news for exactly the reason you state. If Kohli had been happy to go in in the morning, there would be no reason for Dhoni to state that the situation was handled poorly. Even if Hindustan Times is simply connecting the dots, they hardly seem to be saying anything completely implausible.

Or this could be Dhoni'd effort to derail the Kohli train that seems to be going faster than he wants.:winky: People are assuming and talking about Kohli as the future captain like Dhoni has been told to go.WE are assuming this is dhoni's last test series and he will retire after the WC.Maybe that is not what he thinks or wants and finds this all upsetting.How often do captains talk about unrest in dressing room in PCs ?

That too in such a competitive environment ! It is a very natural thing unless it is happening frequently. Should not mean much and should not be discussed in public for the sake of the team.

Worst thing is he showed his anger on the pitch.
